Program in details:

 

Day 1     Arrival Ho Chi Minh ( former name Saigon)  (D)

Arriving Ho Chi Minhi,our guide will be at the airport to welcome you & transfer you to your hotel.    

Dinner at local restaurant.

Overnight at the hotel in Saigon.

 

Day 2     Saigon - Mekong Delta – Saigon (B)

A full day trip to the watery world of the Mekong Delta, just a couple of hours by road from the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City's streets. Depart for Vinh Long, 150km southwest Ho Chi Minh city. A motor-boat takes you along the Mekong river and follows small canals flowing sluggishly between banks of luxuriant vegetation to Cai Be floating market, one of the most typical floating markets of the Mekong Delta. Experience the exotic sights, sounds and smells. Lunch at a bonsai garden with speciality food - "Elephant's Ear" fish

Day 3     Saigonn- Cu chi tunnel - fly to Danang  (B) 

A morning city tour of dynamic Ho Chi Minh City, still called Saigon by many locals, takes in the former Presidential Palace, the Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Saigon Post Office, a lacquerware factory and Thien Hau Pagoda in the city's bustling Chinatown. In the afternoon, visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence.’

Then take flight to Danang. Our guide will meet you in Danang, then transfer to the hotel in Hoian.

Day 4     Hoian city tour  (B) 

Morning we have city tour  to Hoi An, a major Asian trading port in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries whose architecture and relaxed lifestyle has changed little over the years. Take a walking tour of the ancient town centre to visit the former merchants' homes, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the colourful market.

Day 5     Hoian - My Son – Hue  (B) 

Morning  trip to visit the capital and religious centre of the former Champa Kingdom, My Son. Here, 40km southwest of Hoi An, in a lush green valley, are dozens of red brick towers and sanctuaries dating from between the seventh and thirteenth centuries. Then drive to Hue.

Day 6     Hue city tour - perfume river cruising (B) 

Perfume river is a symbol of Hue city, also is beutiful nature that charms visitor to come Hue.

Leave the hotel at 08.00 am, we will drive to embark a Dragon boat that take us along the peaceful Huong river to Hon Chen temple, Thien Mu pogoda King and Minh Mang Tomb.

Back to the boat to have lunch on boaton the Perfume river, enjoy the beautiful scenery on the most romantic river of Vietnam.

On the way back to the hotel, we can admire the sunset of the perfume river.

Day 7     Hue fly to Hanoi -water puppet show  (B) 

At leisure till transfer to the airport for flight to Hanoi.

Evening enjoy water puppet show.  All puppets are made of woods, moving on the water following the rhythm of live folk music.  Fire crackers, smoke, fire and lights make it more picturesque.

Day 8     Hanoi city tour – Sapa  (B)

• Ho Chi Minh Complex: Completed in 1975 the complex contains Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum, his former stilt-house residence, the Presidential Palace and the Ho Chi Minh museum.

 

• The Temple of Literature: Originally built as a temple to Confucius, this is the site of Vietnam’s first university dating back to 1070. Inside are the stone stele mounted on the backs of turtles, inscribed with the names of the university’s graduates. The complex is divided into five courtyards with different paths that would originally have been reserved for the Emperor and his mandarins. One of the courtyards contains the statue of Confucius guarded by two beautiful bronze storks standing on turtles. The temple highlights the importance that Vietnamese society placed then and now on education. Lunch

• Museum of Ethnology: This museum is widely acknowledged as the best in the country and has an extensive display dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 Ethnic minority peoples. As well as the comprehensive array of exhibits inside, there are also traditional tribal houses reconstructed within the grounds.

 

• Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake: The Ngoc Son temple is set on a tiny island on the Hoan KiemLake, its history dating back to the 13th century. The temple is reached by crossing the The Huc Bridge which literally means the ‘Place Touched by Morning Sunbeams’. The Hoan Kiem Lake is the local point of the city and the source of many legends. One legend has it that in the 15th century Emperor Le Thai To vanquished the invading Chinese with the help of a magical sword. Whilst rowing on the lake an enormous turtle seized the sword from his grasp. The Emperor took this to mean that peace had returned and the sword had been given back to its guardian spirit. In honour of the event he renamed the lake ‘Ho Hoan Kiem’ – Lake of the Restored Sword.

Tonight we take the night train to Sapa.

Day 9     Sapa  (B)  

Upon arrival in Lao Cai, drive 40km on coach to Sapa. Enjoy the picturesque scenery along the way leading to Sapa, a mountainous area of stunning natural beauty and diverse ethnic minorities. Transfer to the hotel for check in 

Walking tour to visit Saturday 'mountain market'. Lunch at local restaurant. Transfer to Ta Van village, about 8 km of twisty road from Sapa town. Along the road you will see many H’Mong, Dzay, Dzao ethnic people dressed in their traditional colourful costumes. Two-hour walking tour through a terraced paddy field to discover the lifestyle of the Dzay minority

Day 10   Sapa - Hanoi   (B)              

Today, we will trek to several hill tribe villages of Lao Chai and Tavan, visit H'mong and Dzay people.

We will through the moutains and have chance to meet the local ethnic minorities, share

experience to this friend people and have lunch on the way to Ta van village.

Afternoon, transfer back to Lao Cai for the train to Hanoi that departs at 21.15pm

 

Day 11   Hanoi – Halong  (B,L,D)     

We will be pick up from the railway station.Then drive around 4 hours along Red river Delta to Halong bay after having breakfast. On the way, we will stop at Hong Ngoc Humanity center for break. Also visit shops that sell the products be made from disable children.

12h15:  Check-in registration,  Boarding  on Deluxe Junk . Welcome drink is served

12h45:  Start cruising

13h00: Have lunch board

13h30: A fantastic cruise in Ha Long bay, visit Dinh Huong island, Ga Choi island, Dog island, Sail island, visit Sung Sot  cave and a swim at Titov beach. 

17h30:  Relax and enjoy sunset

19h30:  Enjoy dinner on board.

21h00:  Fishing or relax and spending a night on board.

 

Day 12   Halong – Hanoi  (B,L) 

7h00: Have breakfast

7h30: A morning cruise to visit Mans head island, Tortoise island, visit Luon cave by small bamboo boat, Bai Tu Long bay

10h00: Arrange luggage and check-out

10h30: Have lunch on board

11h45: Arrive Halong wharf.

You will be transfered to the hotel in Hanoi.

Day 13   Hanoi – departure  (B)     

Leisure till transfer to the departure flight.
