Full day city tour in Ho Chi Minh to visit the Former Presidential Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Post Office, the History Museum, Thien Hau Pagoda, Binh Tay market in lively China Town.

PROGRAM IN DETAILS:
Day 1: HANOI ARRIVAL:
Meet on arrival at Hanoi/Noi Bai International airport, transfer to hotel for check in.
Tonight we will have a welcome dinner at local restaurant. Then, we will enjoy Water puppet show, the unique Vietnamese traditional art. This art originates from rural festivals in Vietnam. The artists-men and women-stand waist-deep in the water to manipulate the puppets, making them move about, talk and laugh and even dance on the surface of the water.

Day 2: HANOI - DRIVE TO HALONG
Breakfast at hotel. Visit to Temple of Literature built in the 11th century as Vietnam's first university, Fine Art Museum, Quan Than Temple, Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum (closed on Monday, Friday and the whole October and November) and Residence, One Pillar Pagoda and Army Museum. Lunch at local restaurant.
Drive to Halong.

Day 3: HALONG BAY CRUISES - HANOI
08.00 AM: We will check in on board in Halong bay for cruising.
The seafood lunch will be served on board while you are enjoying a four hour cruise on the bay to visit the Thien Cung cave ( The cave of the heavenly - famous for its stalagmites and stalactiles ) which has been open to public since 1998. Visitors then admire the newly - discovered DAU GO grotto ( wooden stakes deep inside the cave prior to a battle with an invading Mongol army ). Boat ride back to Ha Long city. Road trip back to Hanoi.

Day 4: HANOI - HUE
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport for morning flight to Hue. Arrive in Hue, the royal city of Vietnam's last ruling dynasty and transfer to the Saigon Morin Hotel or similar. Lunch at Club Garden restaurant. After lunch visit Imperial Citadel and Tu Duc's Tomb, Dong ba market. (visiting Khai Dinh tomb if time permitting).

Day 5: HUE - DANANG - HOIAN
Breakfast at hotel. Boat trip on the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda. Depart Hue for Danang across the Hai Van Pass (Pass of the Ocean Clouds), passing through many pretty red-tiled villages with fruit orchards, enjoying spectacular views of sky and sea. Upon arrival in Danang, transfer to visit Cham Museum. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch continue to visit China beach and then drive to Hoi An to discover the historic town which used to be a prosperous seaport city during the 16th to 18th centuries. Its sizeable community of foreign merchants resulted in a unique architectural style with Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese influences. Transfer to the Hoi An Hotel for check-in.

Day 6: HOIAN - DANANG -TAKE FLIGHT TO HO CHI MINH CITY
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Danang Airport for morning flight to Ho Chi Minh city. Meet on arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport in Ho Chi Minh and transfer to the hotel. Lunch at local restaurant. City tour: China town, Thien Hau Pagoda, Notre Dame Cathedral, Post office, History museum and former Presidential Palace.

Day 7: HO CHI MINH - DEPARTURE
Breakfast at hotel. Time at leisure for own activities before transfer to the airport. Depart Ho Chi Minh by international flight.
