Tay Ninh, near the Cambodian border, is home to the unique Cao Dai sect, whose patron saints include Joan of Arc, Victor Hugo and Winston Churchill to name a few. The religion is an odd mix of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism and Christianity. The trip to Tay Ninh is combined with a visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels. At its height, the tunnel system stretched from Saigon to the Cambodian border and was three levels deep. Today the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction giving the visitor a unique experience and a feel of what underground life in the war must have been like

Itinerary:
In the morning, we drive 100km to TayNinh to visit TayNinh Great Temple, the headquarter of the indigenous religion CaoDai. At noon, when the mass in session, you'll have a chance of discovering this beautiful architecture and the eclectic mixture of CaoDai philosophy. After lunch, we drive 50 km to Cu Chi once famous for the magic tunnel system which at the height stretched over 250 km. In CuChi, you'll have a great chance of checking out the tunnels and finding out how life of the local people was during the Second Indochina War. We drive back to HoChiMinh city
